Who Is Responsible For Bugs In An Apartment?

I just noticed that are apartment is crawling with little sugar ants, they are in our bedroom coming in through the windows and cracks in the walls, and it looks like sheetrock is peeling. Anyway, do we notify the apartment or should we take care of the issue ourselves? And what is the best way to get rid of them?

I doubt a landlord would take care of them, and they aren’t very difficult to take care of anyway.
you need to check your lease and see. its common here that pest control is included
