I know a movie is good when I’ve got a running dialogue going with the actors!
I have to wonder what ‘Abe’ and Guy were thinking when they told Mia the baby was dead. Did they think she was deaf and wouldn’t hear it cry. Did they think she would never go to Minnie and Roman’s again and not see it or they would act in a way that didn’t tell her something was wrong. Just a stupid thing to say to her.
lol, i dislike Laura Louise but I know how that feels when someone you dont think will have any effect on you scares the hell outs you. Funny.
Not little. It had absolutely nothing to do with marxism.
Also killing spree is a bit rich for it lol.
Actually, Manson ideology had very little to do with Marxism.
Obviously as the writing on the wall (Helter Skelter) suggests he was obsessed with the Beatles and had re-imagined them into the four horseman – but his actual belief was that the blacks would rise up against the whites – if they were started off, and he would be their ruler. The killing of Sharon Tate was important but so to was the discarding of the gun in a black neighbourhood for them to ‘take the fall’ and perhaps ‘anger them’
Polanski WAS tried. A verdict WAS in and he fled right before the verdict was read. He (his attorneys) had a cash settlement (800k) with the underage victim as well. He NEVER should have fled, but there is more to the case than you know.
John Cassavetes (Guy) is so awesome as an actor. my fav director.
No, he didn’t. the killing didn’t have anything to do with this movie. Sharon Tate was killed a year after this movie.
Manson’s ‘family’ were on a killing spree. But it was inspired by Marxist ideology more than by this film. Apparently, there were other groups running around specifically targeting white people with many murdered. But they got no publicity. Manson got coverage because of that one house full of high-profile victims (Sharon Tate…), and because his killings were white-on-white, and presumably about killing ‘rich pigs’.
she looks absolutely stunning in everything she wears
oh, the forever ticking clock.
The movie was made the year before Sharon Tate was murdered. She actually has an uncredited appearence in this movie as she appears in the background briefly in one scene. Whether the Manson group took any ideas from this I don’t know.
Was this made before or after sharon tate was murdered? Did manson get the idea of killing her from this movie?
Roman Polanski is not dead. But his wife, Sharon Tate, was murdered by Manson’s team of psychopaths. Terrible for him.
John Cassavettes appears to be a homosexual.
Discuss!
Roman Polanski wasn’t murdered by manson. He had sex with a 13 year old and was never tried due to the fact that he fled the US. Now they have captured him and France is freaking out because they think he’s too old to be put in jail.
she was a actress was’nt she i think i remeber reading something about it something a baby being cut out is that right
roman polanski wasnt murdered by manson….his wife was though.
i think this is a very good movie it’s crazy that the man who made this movie was murder by mansons cult, and that john lennon was murder outside of the apartment in this movie
I love screaming that when no one is around! lol
Beautiful film, they don’t make them like that anymore. I bet if it was done today they would show a cheesy CGI baby…Mia’s performance is enough to scare the **** out of you.
Its andy. LOL
i still think the movie’s classic. just the corniness i can do without. and the hair was great on mia.
your ,lying your lying you witches lol
but thats typically how a woman thinks when shes pregnant … and sheesh it’s 1968!!! that in itself is incredible … this movie although it can be corny and some of the things they do are weird i love it … i love the apartment i love the way they try to be modern with their bricks for a headboard AND i love her hair its SO 60s! and just her giving reference to vidal sassoonwas amazing
